My inspiration for a design usually comes from nature. I enjoy dyeing my fabrics and threads using natural or synthetic dyes. When I am working on a project I use all sorts of techniques including spinning, embellishing, felt and paper making as well as hand and machine embroidery. And there are always new materials to try.
