My textile pictures explore the richness and vibrancy of colour and texture which can be achieved by layering, manipulating, distorting and stitching a range of textiles and related mixed media. My inspiration can come from anywhere, from an object in a museum, from a face, a photograph and will often be developed through sketch book studies and my own paintings.
